Ubisoft releases Far Cry 4 with 3D Character Art Support from Virtuos
Shanghai, China – December 15th 2014 – Virtuos is proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to the most recent installment of the Far Cry franchise – Far Cry 4 – developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with numerous other Ubisoft studios. Virtuos supported Ubisoft by providing character & clothing modeling for many of the key characters in the game. Far Cry 4 represents another milestone for Virtuos’ character art team who also contributed to previous chapter of the franchise, Far Cry 3, back in 2012. Far Cry 4 invites the player to experience the most expansive and immersive Far Cry ever, in an entirely new, massive open world. Players will find themselves in Kyrat, a breath-taking, perilous and wild region of the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Using a vast array of weapons, vehicles and animals, players will write their own story across an exotic open-world landscape. “Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes” releases with 3D Art and Animation support from Virtuos.

Virtuos supported Avalanche studios by providing character modeling, vehicle modeling, environment/props modeling, and more than 225 animation cycles and 20+ minutes of cinematic cutscenes. “The new game introduces interactive Super Hero figures from across the Marvel universe with original Play Set storylines written with the help of award-winning Marvel comic writer Brian Michael Bendis.
