Virtuos opens new development center in China
Virtuos announced that it has opened its fourth production center in the Chinese city of Xian. The expansion will give Virtuos a larger pool of resources to address growing demand from clients and place Virtuos near the 1000-staff milestone. With outsourcing becoming mainstream in the games industry and demand fueled by larger projects coming from the US, Japan, Korea and China, this move is aimed at ensuring that the company can serve its clients in producing more content for more platforms.
Sparx Doubles Saigon Studio Size
Virtuos-Sparx is pleased to announce that we have doubled our Saigon studio floor space to meet the needs of our growing team. The Sparx Saigon studio now has 1,000 square meters, occupying a full floor in its downtown Saigon’s office building. Sparx moved into this new facility in December of last year.
Industry Veteran Production Director Frederick Lissau Joins Virtuos company Sparx
Saigon, Vietnam – February 28, 2012 – Sparx has added industry veteran Frederick Lissau to its growing Vietnam Studio. Frederick brings more than 15 years of animation production experience with companies including Disney Animation, DreamWorks Animation, Sony Imageworks, Universal Studios and SCEA. He joins Sparx as Director of Production.
