With 2015 coming to a close, Virtuos is ending the year on a high note! Looking at our 2015 co-development track record, we have set new high standards of quality in shipping Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD on PS4 . This Japanese RPG scored an impressive 87% on Metacritic, which places it at the very top of the list of all time high scores obtained for an HD remaster. On the game Art side, Virtuos year’s top achievements included work on AAA titles that have earned 4 of this year’s “IGN Best of E3 2015 Awards” as well as the recently released Metal Gear Solid the Phantom Pain, Black Ops III, Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Rainbow Six Siege and Just Cause 3 to name but a few. Finally this year, our Virtuos movie team produced top quality assets for 5 blockbuster films, including Avengers: Age of Ultron and Jurassic World. Topping off our amazing year in films, we are of course thrilled that the tremendously anticipated Star Wars The Force Awakens, has recently released in theatres with 3D asset support from Virtuos. Though we cannot mention all of the fantastic projects we worked on this year – there were indeed many! A big “thank you” to all of our studio partners for your valued trust and partnership. Virtuos Closes New Series B Funding Round to Sustain Growth Momentum
Shanghai, China, December 15, 2014 – Virtuos announces today that it has secured a new series B round of funding from Shanghai-based Xuhui Venture Capital. At the same time, Virtuos welcomes two new board members as strategic advisors: Steven Chiang, former President of Games at Zynga, and François Candelon, Senior Partner for Technology, Media and Telecommunications and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group. With more than 1,000 staff spread across eight studios and offices worldwide, Virtuos offers a full range of services from 2D/3D artwork to full game development across multiple platforms. Ubisoft releases Far Cry 4 with 3D Character Art Support from Virtuos

The port of XCOM: Enemy Within from console/PC to iOS, Android, and Fire OS signifies another notable milestone in Virtuos’ Co-development track record. The mobile adaptation has achieved a Metacritic score of 93, ranking it among the most well received ports to mobile platforms to date.
